From as far back as I can remember I was also referred to as the "fat girl” or the “chubby friend" all the way through primary school and high school and into well into adulthood. My 3 children and family would always remind me I was beautiful inside and out but the taunts from the kids at school always stuck in my mind. Weather it be when trying to enjoy a swim with my children or wear something that wasn't "size appropriate". It was always "lights off ONLY" for adult time, my self esteem was completely gone.
In 2015 I met my now husband and for years it was the same story, "lights off" *eye rolls* everyday when he told me how beautiful I was. Obviously I never saw what he saw . Where he saw beauty, I saw cellulite, jiggly bits and stretch marks. Then in 2019 he gave me a magical proposal on the skywalk at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and I knew then my gift to him had to be something special.
I set about finding a boudoir photographer who would do a bridal boudoir shoot of me for him. I found Nic, the beauty behind the lense of Wild hearts. Well I walked into her studio like a scared teenager walking into my first day at high school. Within moments I was getting my gear off LIGHTS ON!! I felt so comfortable. I knew my cellulite, stretch marks and jiggly bits where still there. But in those moments, for the first time that I could ever remember I DIDN'T CARE.
I felt confident I felt beautiful and this was all Nik. Her guidance, humour and just her amazing Aura that radiated around her made me relaxed and confident in just being me. I left with more confidence then ever before and since that day. I have worn what I want "size appropriate " or not, and even left the lights on ;) and been a better happier version of ME. So happy in fact I dragged hubby a few months later, to join me in a couple boudoir to showcase our love. That day Nik was able to capture the love of 2 people who are both perfectly imperfect.
I still feel so empowered as a women to be me, and no longer do I look in the mirror and see "the fat girl" I see a wife, sister ,mother and a daughter who loves every bit of herself and who is now able to be a positively role model to my Boys that women are not defined by their dress size. And I am so grateful to Nik and her wild heart for silencing all those little voices within me.

Everyone is nervous, that is completely normal! You will have a great time though and when you see your gorgeous images, it will totally be worth it!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
We offer pre-payment plans through our Boudie Bank. We also accept cash, all major debit & credit cards, as well as offering Buy Now Pay Later options through Afterpay & Payright.
DO I HAVE TO SHARE MY PHOTOS?
Absolutely not! You have full control over who sees them. Privacy and confidentiality are paramount in our studio. We respect your comfort level and preferences regarding sharing or keeping your images private. We fully admit though to doing a happy dance when you do share, so other woman like you can find us and book their own experience. Our team is committed to ensuring that your experience is empowering and enjoyable, with your wishes always at the forefront. If you have any specific concerns or preferences regarding the handling of your photographs, please let us know, and we'll ensure everything aligns with your expectations.
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE. WILL YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO?
We will absolutely tell you how to pose, where to look and what to do! All you have to do is show up & have fun! By the end of the session, you'll be a PRO and doing it better than any Victoria's Secret model LOL!

The majority of our sessions will take place in The Wild Heart Collective Studio's situated on the Esplanade, in gorgeous Hervey Bay, Queensland. The studio is open by appointment only so you can be assured of your utmost discretion. We have multiple sets to choose from, access to our very own client closet and the option to do a full set on the beach at sunset!
